“The woman is a trophy hanging on the wall. She herself becomes the painting,the suspended object. She is a prisoner of her image, a victim of clichés about femininity. I chose to exacerbate these clichés, with a mouth that overflows, an oversized blow-dry, apparent docility.The ideal woman is frozen, in no state of harm. However, in certain images, we can feel a resistance, an imminent revolt.
